Causing Casual

Top from Urban Outfitters
AE jeans
Sandals
Cork purse from Vignettes Visit Vignette's Blog Here

Finally my blog is up to date! Sorry my posts have been so sporadic lately, summer is a hard time to be on a schedule! It's very unfortunate. I really love scheduling. I'm weird. Anyway, so tonight I went to a casual dinner with friends. Casual dinner=Casual attire. I simple wore a summer-y top with skinny jeans, statement earrings(not visible in these photos), my hair in a nice pony tail, and sandals. People are always concerned about what is considered casual or not. I take it as something that I am comfortable in, something that's simple, and something I can wear walking down the street and not get strange looks. If you have more questions on what is considered casual, contact me at maggiea95@comcast.net! Also, check out the boutique that I work at, Vignette's, blog in the link above! Thanks!

I forgot to post this!

Skirt from Deja Vu Boutique
Aerie Tank
Urban Outfitters Belt
Shoes from Rack Room lol

Hey guys! This is just a quick post about my outfit going out to a nice dinner! I wore a cool skirt with heels and a feather belt. But, to keep things simple, I wore a plain black strapless tank as my top. I highly recommend to invest in one of these! I can wear my black tank with simple high waisted denim during the day, then with a skirt and heels that night! It's always fun to dress up! I dare you guys to put on your heels and strut out on the town tonight!

Dress Up Your Rompers

Old romper from a Macy's or Dillards I believe..
DIY vest from Forever21
Gap Sandal

Hey Guys! I hope everyone's having a wonderful summer! Today I want to talk about...ROMPERS! So, we all have a romper by now, whether we just bought a super cute one or you bought one three years ago when they came back into the fashion radar. Either way, rompers are in. And there is no more just wearing a "romper" anymore. We've got to dress it up! For mine, I just added a vest over it. It gave it a completely different, more polished look! Since rompers are so convenient to throw on, they can be worn with almost anything! Necklaces, belts, vests, DENIM vests, boots- the list goes on! I encourage you guys to dress up your rompers with whatever you can!
Sorry I'm so excited about rompers, but I just love them! It's fun to dress up!
xoxo,
Maggie

Kind of Taylor Swift-y

H&M Top
Urban Outfitters Shorts
Urban Outfitters Flats
Thrifted Sunglasses

Hiiiii guys. This outfit was just a result of me being bored and wanting to look cute for a simple dinner with my friends. I forgot, since it's summer and I've been basically chilling in tanks, how good you feel about yourself when you dress up. I encourage you guys to stop watching Netflix and going out with your friends with a super cute summer outfit on. It feels good I promise. I wore this simple black H&M top with vibrant red high waisted shorts and floral flats. To top it off, I did a loose fishtail braid and wore some vintage sunglasses. I definitely felt like Taylor Swift, although I didn't mean to. To conclude, go out with your friends! It will cure your summer day blues!

Maggie

NYC Dreaming

Top from Forever 21
Shorts from Forever 21
Thrifted Sunglasses
Sandals

In this outfit, I went thrift shopping with my friends and were planning to walk around a little downtown. However, our plans were ruined when a hurricanetornadotropicalstormtsunamimonsoon rain mixture bombarded us, leaving us completely soaked. We managed to get one picture under some roofing though. The rain made me wish we were actually in New York doing some shopping on Fifth Ave, but we're stuck here, wearing only tank tops that refer to NYC.
Peace,
Maggie

Church

Top from Deja Vu http://shopdejavu.com/pages/homepage
Necklace From Consignment store
Urban Outfitters Jeans
Gap Sandals

Yeah so I know today is Thursday and I wore this on Sunday to church, I just forgot to actually post it to the blog... Anyway I went with a super classy/preppyish vide with a twist. Why? This top(not sure if you can see) is half lace half leather. I thought that was a funky twist for a common lace top. Since I was going to church, I wore it with white jeans, a statement necklace, and sandals. However, because of the leather and lace on this top, you could wear it with anything edgy like ripped denim, high waisted shorts, or even more leather with leather pants or shorts. This was fun to wear and I got a ton of compliments on it! Thanks for reading!
XOXO,
Maggie
