Preppy

Gap cardigan
Sweater I don't remember where I got it
Old navy jeans
Loafers from Target

Today I'm looking extra preppy with a cute sweater, gap cardigan which I wear a lotttt, skinny jeans, and, my favorite part, the sparkly loafers. I think that loafers can make an outfit look instantly dressier. There are so many different styles and patterns of loafers though that can prevent you looking like you're wearing your grandpa's shoes. In this case, they are sparkly, which gives off a youthful touch. Wear them with skinny jeans, and cute top and you're set! Thanks for reading!

Maggie

Freeeeee

Free people sweater
Scarf from UO
Jeggings
Brown short boots

I don't even know what I'm trying to do here haha. Basically today's outfit I used my free people sweater which I LOVE, even though today someone asked me if a small child just learning how to sew made the back for it. No matter, I also wore my fringe scarf over it, jeggings, and brown boots. Lastly I put my hair in a low messy bun with a braid for a boho feel. Thanks for reading!
Peace,
Maggie

Blazers

Blazer from BP Nordstrom
Random B&W tank
Scarf also from BP Nordstrom
AE jeans
Booties from Urban like 1000 years ago;)

Today in my marketing class, we had to complete "mock interviews," as if we were applying for an actual job. So, my challenge was to dress in business attire while also maintaining a casual school outfit. Now I know this is a weird situation and girls do not normally have to mix the two at school lol, but this outfit shows how to wear a blazer without looking like they are going to work at a real job. The easiest way to wear a blazer is to pair it with some kind of stripes. I'm not sure why, but it tends to give off a more casual look. Over my stripes, I added a fun pink scarf, then put on skinny jeans and booties to add a "younger" and "hip" vibe. Lastly I placed my hair in a sleek top knot to give off a professional appearance. There are 100s of other ways to wear this item that used to only be worn by grown women in the workplace, this is just one. Also, colorful blazers are something I've been dying to try. Also, wearing a blazer with a dress can really make a girl look classy. So, don't think your mother or grandmother are the only people who can wear them! Dress them up or down and have some fun with blazers! Thanks for reading!

Electric blue

Gap sweater
Black jeggings
Black boots

Hello all! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Today I am wearing a chic and sophisticated look just because of one color! Electric blue can seriously make any outfit look classy, especially when paired with black. I don't know what it is about this color, but it does miracles! It allows me to wear this comfy, simple sweater, jeggings, boots, and a ponytail while still being able to look well put together and chic. Try wearing this color with all black and you will make a statement! Thanks for reading!
Love,
Maggie

I've also included the picture of the dresses I modeled in for my school's prom fashion show! I had a great time and thanks to everyone who helped out!!

Rain

Top from BP Nordstrom
Gray infinity scarf
Leggings
Old navy rainboots

Happy Friday!! Today was, in fact, a very lazy day for me. I was sick last night and got little to no sleep, so the outcome was definitely a lazy day. I wore this polka dot oversized top with leggings and rainboots because the rain seems like it will never end!! Anyway, thanks for reading and hope everyone has a good weekend!! Also I enclosed a photo from my swim team banquet last night where I wore a dress from forever21! Peace out Girl Scouts!

Classic

Free people shirt
Gap cardigan
Jeans
Brown boots

Hello lovelies! Today was one of those days where you have a million things to do and people to see where it was necessary not to look like a hobo. So, though I was tired and it was early in the morning, I realized it doesn't take but a second or two longer to throw on a nice shirt compared to a t shirt. Then I put on jeans and my favorite boots and curled my hair a little nicer. Bam. I'm done. It doesn't take long to put in a little more effort into your outfit because dressing down will make you feel down! Am I right?? No. Okay. Lol anyway thank you so much for reading! And tomorrow I'm participating in a prom fashion show for my school, so ill definitely be having my followers and readers on my mind! Thank you guys and wish me luck!
Xxxx,
Maggie

Dripping Chanel

DIY Chanel shirt
J crew cardigan
Jeans
H&M flats
"Lulu" brand purse

Hello friends! I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend, or long weekend in my case. Today I'm wearing my DIY Chanel dripping Chanel logo tee, which I absolutely LOVE! My friend Eric and I made these together (he made a YSL one) and they are seriously the best idea ever! It feels, to me at least, like I'm wearing real Chanel! Which it pretty cool if you're on a strict forever21 and under budget like me. Anyway, with my Chanel shirt I added a simple black cardigan, skinny jeans, and my favorite eye popper neon pink flats! They really can spice up any outfit, especially if it's all black and white. So, next time you're wearing boring black and white, try adding a pop of color, even if it's something simple. Thanks for reading!

Maggie

Military Chaqueta(jacket) and a Happy Friday

Forever21 shirt
Military jacket from Plato's Closet for $14!
Black AE jeggings
Forever21 boots

Happy Friday!!! I hope you guys had a great week and have an even greater weekend! Today, the sun came out and I couldn't be happier! Anyway, I kind of dressed like I was going on a safari today, but I don't really care because I love this jacket so much. Underneath I wore a pretty long sleeve floral shirt, black jeggings, and tan boots. Last I Dutch braid a piece of my hair then pulled it back into a low pony. This outfit I kind of centered around the jacket, but there are so many other ways to wear it! I added some examples that i found on pinterest and lookbook! And I know I'm kind of late on the whole military or trench coat trend..but you guys will sill read my blog, right? RIGHT?! Just kidding but thanks for reading and have a wonderful weekend!

RED

Target peplum top
Old navy jeans
Shoes from urban outfitters
Infinity scarf

Happy Valentine's Day lovelies! Hopefully you at least got one valentine today, but if not i added one just for you! Today I conformed to society by wearing red on valentines day... But who doesn't love a peplum top? I paired it with skinny jeans, an infinity scarf, and floral flats. Last, I did my hair in a more polish top knot than I usually do, which was the cherry on top of a chic outfit. Haha? That was supposed to be clever word play..... Anyways I hope everyone has a grand slamming valentines day!
Much love,
Maggie

Third day of rain

Old navy sweater
Forever21 skirt
H&M necklace
Gray boots

Yes it's been raining for the past three days and I'm soooooo over it..... Sorry sometimes I'm a diva lol. But today I was pretty cold in this outfit but I don't care, I've gotten tired of the gloomy days so I decided to spice up my life with colors! I paired my rainbow crazy colored skirt (caution I wear this a lot!) with a navy blue sweater. I did this instead of pairing it with another bright color to make it more wintery. Last I added a pink statement necklace and gray tall boots. Thanks for reading!
Here's to no more rainy days,
Maggie

Just chillin in my flannel

Old navy Flannel
AE jeans
Shoes from forever21

Yeah..... Got a little lazy today. But no matter, simple is good right? Right. Sometimes there's no need to try and add every possible accessory to an outfit. Didn't Coco Chanel always say "take a look at your perfect outfit, then remove one item?" I always had a problem with this concept because I always tried to make an outfit the absolute best it could be. Yet, sometimes you should just simply wear a nice shirt, jeans, and flats. In my case I just put on my fav flannel from old navy, jeans, and some oxfords and I was good to go while looking effortlessly chic (because it really was effortless). Thank you for reading!

I'M BACK!!

Jcp sweater
Leggings from kohls ($6!)
Rainboots from old navy
Teardrop necklace

I have returned from the dead!!! Not really, but this last week was spirit week at my school, so I didn't think you would have wanted to read about ridiculous outfits... But I added some pictures from it anyways lol. Also this weekend I ventured to Atlanta with my swim team for state woohoo and I enclosed some pictures from that as well. Now, however, I'm back to reality; Monday, raining, what's worse than this? I try to make the best it by looking semi decent (I didn't do my hair haha) but I'm wearing my floral leggings from kohls that I scored for $6!! And then I added a big sweater and my new favorite piece, this Tiffany blue teardrop necklace! Finally I added my rainboots because it was raining :( thank you everyone for reading and hopefully I didn't lose too many readers from my week off! I missed doing this though and I love you guys! Thanks!

Sweater+dress

Sweater from American Eagle
Tunic dress from Urban
Leggings
Cowgirl boots..

Happy Friday!! So today I'm sporting a trend I see all over Pinterest-sweaters over dresses. Now, I feel like when girls try this trend out, the combination of a big sweater and poofy dress makes them feel like they gained 47739165 lbs. Been there done that. When you're wearing a sweater over a dress, try to find a very thin sweater and a straight bag dress. If they still does not work, add a belt or pin of any kind to give a figure flattering look. In my case, this sweater is very thin and this dress is straight down. I paired it with leggings and copper cowgirl boots, because sometimes you have to wear cowgirl boots! Have a great weekend!
Much love,
Maggie
