Easy, breezy, beautiful boho.

Forever21 shirt
Thrifted sweater
J Brand jeans
Forever21 oxfords
Bag is a hand-me-down from my lovely sister:)

It's still a bit chilly in the Aug. I don't think we've had this long of a winter in a longggg time. So, with this weather, comes even more wardrobe challenges. Never fear, I'm here to help. Okay so, I don't know if it's just me, but I sometimes get the urge to dress very boho, as in like summery, indie, free people inspired, in the wintertime. But, it's so hard because nobody sells a white, lacy, flowy top in the winter lol. So, when I really just need to let my inner summer loving girl out(sorry about this cheesiness) I find a summer top and put a huge sweater or jacket over it. Today I wore an off white Forever21 top with a thrifted grandma sweater over it. Then just skinny jeans and oxfords. What ties this whole outfit together is the bag. I absolutely love this bag, it's so unique. One should always be on the lookout for timeless, nicely made, and just a "little bit different" purse or bag. They will last a lifetime and more. Okay, sorry this post was literally all over the place.... Thanks for reading it though! If you ever have any questions or need opinions, contact me at maggiea95@comcast.net

Polka dotz

Top from Charlotte Russe
Gap cardigan
Jeans
Booties from Charlotte Russe

The power of polka dots goes a long way. I used to not feel this way. I used to think they were juvenile and too simple, just ask my best friend or my mom(they have always loved polka dots and have tried to convince me to as well.) Now, I realize what they can do- make something old and worn look chic, always look classy, and they match with everything! However, today I wore them simply with jeans, a cardigan, and black booties. I threw my hair in a bun and put on pearl earrings. I probably would have never worn this outfit a year ago, but now I would wear it everyday! It's ironic because I used to think polka dots were childish, but they can actually make the wearer look more mature than ever. Remember, polka dots can be worn in an edgy way too! Try them with a leather jacket, ripped denim, or whatever you want! Thanks for reading!

things.

Denim vest from Charlotte Russe
Anthropologie shirt
Infinity scarf
Skinny jeans
Boots
Forever21 headband

Today I'm wearing just a lot of things. Basically, I was really feeling the urge to wear my denim vest, but it was absolutely freezing so I had to layer. Honestly, when I layer clothes in the winter, I pretty much just throw on the warmest things and make it work. Don't feel like it has to match. Today, I wore a purple anthro button down, denim vest, very warm scarf, jeans, socks, and boots. I also pull my hair back in a headband, so Blair Waldorf. Anyway, layering is fun because there are any rules. Try it out? Thanks for reading!

So I'm wearing an Ed sheeran t shirt..

Ed sheeran t shirt
J crew cardigan
Grey infinity scarf
Leggings
Combat boots

So, I'm wearing a t shirt. Sue me. Lol just kidding, though I bash on wearing t shirts to school all the time, there are actually cute things to do with t shirts. For my outfit, I wore it simply with a cardigan, leggings, a scarf, and boots. You can try try wearing t shirts with a multitude of things such as scarves, blazers, boots, or whatever floats your boat! Thanks for reading!

Emerald

Sweater from American Eagle
Necklace from consignment store
Jeans
Boots

Happy Friday! Right now, I'm on the way to the Taylor Swift/Ed Sheeran concert! So stoked. Anyway, remember when I said the color of spring was Monaco blue? Yeah no it's emerald... Oops. Anyway, I'm wearing my emerald sweater simply with a statement necklace, skinny jeans, and boots. I wore it this way mainly to highlight the color of the top. Also, because I was too lazy to come up with anything more complicated lol. Well, I hope everyone has a good weekend!
Much love,
Maggie

Owling

Old navy owl sweater
Urban cardigan
Jeans
Brown short boots

Today I'm wearing an animal sweater. Judge me? Lol yeah so animal sweaters have been big recently(actually earlier than recently I'm just really late on the trend) so why not try one? I wore mine with simple skinny jeans and boots and a cardigan. There are a lot of ways to wear these sweaters: a-line skirt, oxford flats, or with a button down underneath. I suggest investing in one! Thanks for reading!

Lalalala what do I call this post?

Dress from Urban
H&M cardigan
Black tights
Grey infinity scarf
Striped loafers from Belk

Hola! Hope you are having a wonderful morning/afternoon/whatever time zone you're in! Today I am wearing a simple purple dress that I matched with my purple striped loafers. To make it weather-friendly, I added a scarf, tights, and a cardigan. This outfit is pretty preppy, but I think the messy bun allows more casualness. Loafers are so cute to wear with dresses so don't think you always have to wear them with skinny jeans! Thanks for reading!
Peace and love,
Maggie

Oxfordz

"Chloe" brand shirt from BP Nordstrom
Jeans
Purse from the Barney's outlet lol
Studded cheetah oxfords from urbanog.com

Hi guys! Today I am wearing just a classic, half buttoned down shirt with jeans. To spice it up, I added my funky studded cheetah oxfords. This outfit was cute and comfy and just the right temperature for spring. I think it's also pretty cool that oxfords and this type of shirt both started out as menswear items. Menswear is huge right now and you probably own some even if you don't realize it. Remember women started out wearing dresses that went from their necks to the floor. Look how far we've come;) Thanks for reading!

Monday

Anthropologie cardigan
Target v neck
Old navy jeans
Forever21 boots

Hola! Hope everyone had a good weekend! Today was just one of those Mondays that's even worse than a regular Monday. But, I'm forgetting to power that an outfit can do. In today's look, I really wanted to wear this super pretty cardigan but I couldn't seem to match it with anything elaborate! So, I concluded to wear it with a simple, tucked in v neck, jeans, and boots. Whenever you run out of cute tops, wear a cardigan and a simple white tee. Hope I could help! Colors

Sweater from pacsun
Bottom from dilliards
Forever21 boots

Hey guys! Today's outfit is sorta weird but it works! Or at least I hope it does. I found this really old (I'm talking the middle school dark ages old) and I really liked the bottom half. So, I did what any fashionista on a budget would do, and turned it into a skirt. I simply folded it under and I was done. Then I decided to pair it with my black sweater. I choose black instead of white because white gave off a more spring-y feel than necessary. Lastly I added tall tan boots. So, when you're feeling bored with your wardrobe, take a look at your dress with a new perspective. Maybe you can make one into a skirt, shirt, or even scarf! Thanks for reading!

Floral and dot

Old forever21 shirt
Oldnavy polkadot jeans
Random sparkly flats
Fake Stella McCartney bag

Hey guys! Today has just been one of those busy days! This is the first chance I've had to sit down, and it's 11:00! Anyway, today's outfit I mixed prints. The top is a floral that has bits of red in it with the red polkadot jeans. This is a fun way to mix patterns because they were both on the same color scheme. However, when it comes to mixing patterns, there are no rules. Just pick up a recent teen vogue, the models are wearing the craziest combinations and do not seem to care to much about the "matching" rule. So, when you're feeling risky, try mixing patterns. Doesn't matter if they are simple and barely recognizable, or crazy chic. Try it out! Goodnight lovelies!

Converse

Old navy polkadot tank
Delia's chambray shirt
Jeans
Converse:)

Hey guys! Today I am mixing like a billion different styles into one, hopefully it turned out okay! So I started with the basic, preppy polkadot shirt with jeans. I added a loose chambray shirt to dress the outfit down and add a touch of western-y boho. Then I really dressed it down with the converse. My favorite way to wear converse is with a preppy, simple outfit. They have the power to tie together an outfit while looking edgy, yet chic at the same time. So ladies, try digging out your old converse from the good old middle school days or if you already wear them on a regular basis, try mixing it up and wearing them with something extra girly. As Demi Lovato said, "I still wear my converse with my dress..." Sorry I just quote a 2007 Demi Lovato song.....but she got it right. Wear converse and have some funnnnn.
Peace,
Maggie

Yep

Gap shirt
Blue infinity scarf
Skinny jeans
"Bakers" brand combat boots

Happy Friday! I don't even know what's going on with my outfit today, it's pretty simple for me. The only thing I did was mix my preppy gap shirt and scarf with my combat boots. As I have mentioned before, I love to contrast different styles with each other, such as preppy and edgy. Thanks for reading and thanks for all of your support!

I wear my grandad's clothes. I look incredible.

Gap infinity scarf
Mercer University sweatshirt (this is my grandpa's lol)
Jeggings
Urban outfitters boots

Nothing really matter if you have the right boots right??? Today I am simply wearing a hoodie and jeans but the riding boots make the outfit 100x better! This is not just any hoodie though, it's a college hoodie. I've been walking around telling people it's vintage all day even though I got it from my grandparent's closet. Anyway, college hoodies, letterman jackets, anything that says class of 1980 and under have been really big this year!! But, why buy a cool varsity jacket at forever21 when you can just raid your relatives' closets? After that, pair your vintage item with someone from the modern day or something as timeless as the item itself. In my case, I wore riding boots, jeans and a scarf. I like wearing this outfit because it made me feel like I attended some Ivy League school in New England or something fancy like that. For now, I'm stuck in high school. So, until then, Thanks for reading!

Knitwear

Free people tunic
Leggings
Grey infinity scarf
Boots

Happy hump day! Today I'm wearing this super cute knitted free people tunic with leggings, a scarf, and brown boots! I love the free people brand because their stuff is always so unique! It's like a girl on a budget's version of haute couture! Just kidding, that would be hand making my own clothes. Anyway, I loved wearing this outfit is was super cute and boho-ish. Thanks for reading!

Graphic tees

Shirt from Nanette Lepore's collection at JC Penny's
American eagle cardigan
Skinny jeans
Forever 21 combat boots

Hey guys! Today I am wearing this shirt that I just LOVE by Nanette Lepore's collection at JCP. I got it for $17 and it just felt like I was actually wearing something designer. Maybe that's just me... But I do recommend checking his collection out! With the tee I piled a cardigan, a scarf(not pictured), skinny jeans, and combat boots. It's as easy as putting on an old t shirt and jeans so why not look a little better by wearing a graphic tee?? Thank for reading!

Equestrian

American eagle denim shirt
H&M cardigan
Jeggings
Necklace from Urban Outfitters
Boots also from Urban Outfitters

Hey guyz! Happy Monday! Today I decided to go full out preppy and wear this classic, equestrian inspired look. I'm wearing a simple chambray button down with a colorblock cardigan(these are supposed to be an upcoming trend lol) and then added a fun short necklace right below the collar of my shirt, it's so fun to do! Then, on the bottom half of me, I wore black jeggings and my sister's riding boots;). It was fun to wear this because it was fun to try out a new style. I also really love/want my sister's riding boots. If I would have had more time I probably would have straighten my hair for a more polished look, but I didn't, oops. So, if you have always wanted to try out the equestrian look, here's my best effort and hope you can take inspiration from me! Thanks for reading!

Fridayyyy

Ya! Brand Fur Vest
Gap sweater
J brand jeans
Black boots

Happy Friday!! Okay metallic sweaters were kinda a thing last year, but i really like mine so I'm wearing it again! With it I added my fur vest, jeans, and tall black boots. I also curled my hair and had golf earrings on for a "glam" feel. It was definitely fun to wear and it's a perfect outfit for a night out! Have a great weekend!
